A Message From Century Village West Management

LIMITED OPENING OF CERTAIN RECREATION FACILITIES
May 21, 2020

Management of the recreation facilities at Boca Raton Century Village is aware of the May 16, 2020 issuance of the Palm Beach County Emergency Order Number 7 permitting the opening of community pools, gyms, tennis and pickleball courts. The opening of these facilities must follow specific CDC and county mandated guidelines with continuing adherence to those mandated guidelines, including social distancing protocols. Management is currently working on a plan to open the affected areas as soon as possible. Please note:

• ONLY RESTRICTED AREAS OF THE CLUBHOUSE WILL BE OPEN.

• Century Village ID’s will be required at all areas.

• No Guests will be permitted at this time.

• No water fountains or showers will be available at any area. Residents may bring a personal water bottle.

• No personal equipment can be left in the pool areas or restrooms. Any items left will be disposed of upon discovery.

• If you are sick, please DO NOT come to any recreational facilities and seek medical care.

Areas with Limited Availability:

OUTDOOR CLUBHOUSE POOL:

Open from 9 AM to 5PM

The appointment process for the outdoor pool will continue until Wednesday May 27. The number of residents allowed to use the pool is restricted based on the Order. Century Village ID’s will be required. All residents will be required to follow the CDC social distancing guidelines (including, but not limited to, 6 feet separation between persons and no groups larger than 10 persons). Everyone utilizing the pool MUST wear a face covering at all times except while swimming. Locker room and shower facilities will remain closed. Restrooms are available. Users of the pool bear the responsibility to comply with all posted rules and all CDC guidelines on social distancing and assume the full risk of utilizing the pool. Any violation of posted rules, regulations, social distancing requirements, or other CDC guidelines should be reported to Management by calling 561-451-1221 ext. 402.

SATELLITE POOLS: OPEN WEDNESDAY MAY 27, 2020

FROM 9 AM to 5 PM

This opening is on a trial basis, and non-compliance of rules and regulations will result in pool closures

The Satellite pools will be restricted to a limit of 30 chairs per deck. Chairs cannot be moved. No resident is permitted to bring a deck or lawn chair to the pool and/or the pool area. Century Village ID’s will be required. All residents are required to bring a towel to be placed over the chair. No resident may reserve a chair for a friend. No food is permitted at the pool. No personal equipment, such as pool noodles may be left at the pool. Any personal items left at the pool will be disposed of. All residents will be required to follow the CDC social distancing guidelines (including, but not limited to, 6 feet separation between persons and no groups larger than 10 persons). Everyone utilizing the pool MUST wear a face covering at all times except while swimming. Shower facilities will be closed. Restrooms will be available and cleaned regularly. Residents are welcome to bring sanitizing wipes as well. Residents are encouraged to bring personal water bottles.

Users of the pool bear the responsibility to comply with all posted rules and all CDC guidelines on social distancing and assume the full risk of utilizing the pool. Any violation of posted rules, regulations, social distancing requirements, or other CDC guidelines should be reported to Management by calling 561-451-1221 ext. 402.

Please limit your pool time to 2 hours. This will give more residents the opportunity to enjoy the pool

TENNIS & PICKLEBALL COURTS:

The tennis and pickleball courts will be open, with doubles play permitted immediately, and will resume regular hours as of May 27, 2020. Century Village ID’s will be required and everyone utilizing the Courts MUST wear a face covering at all times except while actively playing. Congregating at courtside or bleachers is prohibited.

TEMPORARY GYM: OPEN WEDNESDAY MAY 27, 2020 MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 9 AM to 8 PM

The temporary gym, located in the Party Room, will be available by APPOINTMENT ONLY with limited hours of operation and capacity restrictions. Details will be posted on Channel 63 when available.

ID/ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICES:

The ID and Accounts Receivable offices will begin taking appointments Wednesday May 20, 2020. The offices will be open May 21, 2020. from 9AM to 4 PM by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call 561-451-1211.

In the event that violations occur, administration shall take corrective action, including, but not limited to, closing the pool, gym or court.

Please call 561-451-1221 ext. 402 to report any violations.

Details, including dates for opening, Limited Capacity, and instructions on how to register in advance to use the Clubhouse Outdoor Pool and Gym, will be provided as soon as possible and will be posted on Channel 63 and website www.centuryvillage-bocaraton.com.
